Trading Controls: Square Off, Per-Client Stop, and Stop All

How Square Off, per-client stop, and Stop All work in BlinkCopied.

BlinkCopied gives you three levels of control once trading is live: per-account square-off, per-client stop, and a global stop.

Square Off

Square Off closes all open positions for an account. Using it on a master account also closes positions for every one of its linked clients — this is the fastest way to flatten a master and its whole group at once.

Stopping a Single Client

To pause copying for one client without affecting the others, expand the master in Manage Accounts and click Stop on that client’s row. Only that client stops; every other linked client keeps copying normally.

Stop All

Stop All pauses copy trading across every master and client on your account. Existing open positions are left untouched — only new trade copying halts, until you resume from the Global Controls bar.

If Copying Seems to Have Stopped

Before assuming an account issue, check whether you’re inside the scheduled maintenance window — App and Trading servers are offline between 12:05 AM and 7:00 AM IST daily. See Server Availability for details.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does "Square Off" do?

Square Off closes all open positions for that account. Using it on a master also closes positions for all its linked clients.

Can I stop copying for a specific client?

Yes — expand the master in Manage Accounts and click Stop on that client's row. Only that client stops; others keep copying.

What happens when I click "Stop All"?

Copy trading pauses across all masters and clients. Existing open positions remain — only new trade copying halts until you resume.

Why isn't copying working right now?

App and Trading servers are offline between 12:05 AM midnight and 7:00 AM IST for scheduled maintenance. See Server Availability in the Getting Started guide for details.

Key Takeaways

  • Square Off closes open positions for an account — and cascades to every linked client when used on a master.
  • A per-client Stop pauses copying for one client only; every other client on the same master keeps copying.
  • Stop All pauses copying across every master and client account at once, without touching existing open positions.
  • If copying appears stopped between 12:05 AM and 7:00 AM IST, that's scheduled server maintenance, not an account issue.

Conclusion

BlinkCopied's three controls cover three different situations: Square Off for exiting positions fast on one account (and everything under it), a per-client Stop for pausing a single account without disrupting the rest of the group, and Stop All for pausing every account at once. Knowing which one to reach for — and that none of them touch existing open positions except Square Off — makes it easier to react quickly when you need to.
