Spot Price

The current market price of an asset for immediate delivery/transaction — as opposed to its Futures price for a later date.

Spot price is the current market price of an asset for immediate transaction — for example, the live price of a stock or the current Nifty 50 index level. It’s the reference point that a Futures contract’s price is based on, adjusted by cost of carry.
