SuperTrend is a trend-following overlay indicator, built using ATR (Average True Range) under the hood, that plots a single line either above or below the price. When price is trending up, the line sits below price (often shown in green); when price is trending down, the line flips above price (often shown in red). That flip is widely watched, especially among Indian intraday traders, as a simple visual signal of a possible change in trend direction.
